I realize I haven’t been the best of bloggers lately. I’ve been lax on my blogging and haven’t really committed the time I should. I suppose when you’re in the middle of your lit review and juggling several freelance writing assignments that might happen. For that I want to say I’m sorry and also thank you for putting up with my bullshit! You’ve been and continue to be a great audience and I hope you’ll stick with me as my life takes on more interesting changes into the future.
I have a confession to make though…
I don’t think I’ve been as honest with you as I could be. I’m a woman of complexities and I don’t think what I’ve been doing is giving my personality true justice. Because of this, I’ve decided to start a new chapter with this blog. In the past I’ve mainly focused on issues of relevance to agriculture exclusively and branched off into topics on cattle, horses, weeds, and forages.
Well, there’s more to this cowgirl than meets the eye!
I’m not guaranteeing any increase in consistency of blog posts. #ThePile of journal articles on my desk and my thesis makes that a little difficult currently. What I am guaranteeing is a higher degree of honesty and a chance to get to know me better. I’ll still be blogging on many important agricultural issues. Where things are going to change up a bit is…I’m going to get personal. I’m going to give you a first hand view into what makes me…ME!
Some people probably aren’t going to want to hear what I have to say and that’s okay. I’m not out to please the crowd. I’m here to give you a perspective into my life and hopefully you learn or take something away from it that helps you in some way. If there’s any dying questions you’d like to ask me leave them in the comments below. I’m open and willing to discuss just about anything (well not everything) but just about!
Thanks again for listening…
