To my surprise, a few weeks ago I found out that I have been nominated for the 2011 Best of the Barns Awards in the category of Ag Advocate of the Year. I’m up against some pretty other impressive agvocates: Temple Grandin, Amanda Radke, BEEF Daily, and Cari Rincker, Rincker Law. I don’t really think I deserve this nomination as much as the other three candidates. We’ve all did our fair share to the agvocacy movement, but none of what I’ve did even compares to an ounce of the multitude of great work that Temple Grandin has done for the ag industry. If you’d like to vote for me please visit the 2011 Best of Barns Competition website and take their survey. The Ag Advocate of the Year category is #55. You can vote as many times as you like and polls close Dec. 1, 2011. Thanks for your support!
Winners will be announced online and in a special “Best of the Barns” awards insert in THE SHOWBOX MAGAZINE‘S JANUARY 2012 ISSUE…..which will be distributed at Denver and Fort Worth to livestock enthusiasts!
