It’s funny how when you least expect it everything seems to fall together. This is precisely what happened to me last week.
Last Thursday I presented and defended my thesis to my graduate committee. After 2 hours, some waiting, and a lot of questions, all of my hard work over the past year and a half paid off. I passed my final exam and received well wishes from my graduate committee in my future endeavors.
In addition to this accomplishment, I was blessed and fortunate to receive a job offer with a ranch in Idaho that I interviewed with back in June. I am excited to tell you that I have accepted this offer. I’m anxious to see what the future has in store for me as I start down this new path that lies ahead for me in Idaho’s Teton Valley. It truly is a blessing to be able to pursue my passion for cattle ranching and grazing in such a beautiful place.
In the weeks ahead, I’ll be tying up lose ends here in Kentucky and back home in Pennsylvania. I plan to be settled in Idaho in early October. Stay tuned as I share with you the perils of moving across the country and my new adventures in ranch life in the Northwest. Things are about to get a little western!
Until next time, thanks for reading!

Congratulations! I agree that the path in life we take is often not the one we set out for. I call it providence. Best Wishes!

Thanks Nate. This is definitely not the path I set out for when I started college over 6 years ago. I’d of never guess back then that I’d be getting ready to do what I am now. I say it’s all part of God’s plan.
